Aquatic
Landscapes
The inspiration for this Aquatic Landscape Photographic Series came from the gin-clear water of north Florida springs and rivers themselves. The natural springs and wetlands that lace the interior of Florida are home to prehistoric fossil remains of ancient whales, sharks and mastodons. This area has a long history of Indian tribes such as the Seminole and Miccasuki who lived along the banks of these Cypress-covered shores. These Natural Springs lay refuge to the legendary "Fountain of Youth" sought by Ponce de Leon, and his Spanish Conquistadors. I hope you find my images as full of imagination as I do.
